How long will my glasses take to arrive?

We want to make sure you’re in the know about delivery when ordering your glasses, below we have highlighted what to expect when ordering from Eye Emporium.
The majority of orders are shipped within 7 days from order date, though more complex orders may take longer. You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your order has been dispatched from our warehouse. We work hard to ensure even the most complex prescriptions are dispatched within 14 days of being authorised by our opticians.

We work closely with Royal Mail who take your order from our hands and deliver it straight into yours. If you’ve received an email to notify you that your order has been dispatched, but you haven’t yet received it after 7 days, contact us and we will try to resolve this as quickly as possible for you.

How much does delivery cost?

Our standard delivery (First Class Royal Mail) to anywhere in the UK is £3.95. Orders from our Boutique range come with free delivery via a recorded courier service.
There are no costs to deliver or return our Home Trial packs.
There are no costs for returning your glasses – see Returns & Refunds for further details.

What about International Delivery & Returns?

Delivery costs and timescales may differ for international orders. Please view our International Delivery page for further details.
Returns from outside the UK will be subject to any return postage fees being paid by the sender. Please view our Returns Policy for more information.

International orders & delivery

Do you offer international delivery?

We are pleased to confirm that as well as the UK, we now offer delivery to over 20 countries, including the following locations: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malta, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA. Simply select your address on from the drop-down list on the checkout page.
Please note that International orders are subject to approval from our qualified Dispensing Opticians, and that on the rare occasion it might not be possible to fulfil some orders where a complex prescription exists.

How long does International delivery take?

The majority of orders are dispatched within 3 to 7 days from order date.
Some glasses take longer due to the more complex lens combinations, e.g. high strength prescriptions. There may also be a delay if our opticians need to contact you about your order. This includes some orders with more complex requirements for coatings and tints.
You will receive an automated email when your glasses have been dispatched - the timescale from then to when you’ll receive your glasses will depend on your country of residence, but we’d expect your glasses to arrive within 3 to 10 working days from dispatch date.

How much does International delivery cost?

As is to be expected, we have different delivery costs for orders from outside the UK. The following delivery fees apply at Eye Emporium:
United Kingdom = £3.95
European region = £7.50
Rest of World (Australasia, North America, South Africa) = Will depend on the country.

What happens if I need to return my glasses?

We are unfortunately not able to offer a free returns label for customers living outside the UK, however we will still gladly accept any returns for exchange or refund in accordance with our Returns Policy. Please read the returns policy for further information on how to return your glasses.

Do you have an international helpdesk?

How do I pay for my order?

We accept both Visa and Mastercard payment cards & PayPal for international orders. Please note that all transactions will be processed in British Pounds.
