When you visit your optician, you want to know that your eyes are being thoroughly examined and even the slightest changes are being monitored. You also want to be sure that you’re having all of the latest tests and checks carried out, even if you’re not entirely sure what they are.
At John High, we’ve always maintained a very high standard of care for our patients, but since becoming part of Eye Emporium we’ve upped our game.
As well as increasing the range of designer brands that we carry and offering new clinics, we’ve also upgraded all of our testing equipment.
What does this mean for you? Well, it means that we now have state-of-the-art practices, so your test will be better than ever before. Of course, we still have an expert team of professionals using the equipment, but the equipment will allow us to see your eyes in more detail, to spot even the most minor of changes to your eye health. In turn, this means that if you have signs of any eye condition, regular tests will ensure that no damage is caused to your sight. If you already have an eye condition, we can monitor it for you to ensure that no further damage is caused and to make sure that your treatment is working.
We are also able to take photographs of the back of your eye to keep on your file. This is called retinal photography. Retinal photography allows us to see far more of your eye than a standard eye test. This means that we can spot tiny changes in your eye and keep track of them by comparing photos from each test you have. We can even email you the photos if you’d like a copy.
Your sight is invaluable to you and at John High opticians we know this. That’s why we invest in advanced equipment whenever we can. It’s important that you have your eyes examined regularly to keep them in the best possible condition.
When you have your eyes tested with us, we’ll book you an appointment with one of our friendly optometrists and check your vision as well as your eye health. If you have any questions about your eyes, our tests, or the equipment we use, you’ll have plenty of time to ask us; we don’t rush you through your examination like some opticians do, because we know each test will be different, just as each patient is.
If you haven’t had your eyes examined in the last two years give us a call today on 0800 020 9202. We hope to see you soon!
